Solution

I began with going through my personal collection of shells I’ve found on trips around the world. There were 3 places that the shells stood out to me most, so I picked out my favorite 16 shells from each bunch. From there I organized the shells to look visually pleasing with the ones next to them, and make the eye want to keep looking at the art and pay attention to the small details. I then dotted the canvas to space the shells apart equally, and glued them down to sit in the way I would like them to be seen. The layout of the shells keeps the viewer interested, and wants them to look from one piece to the next.

Results

Create a unique organization of shells found from meaningful trips, with meaningful memories. Bringing personal collectables, and trip souvenirs into an asset of interior design. As well as bringing personality to a space.
